Up for sale is my completely restored 1972 Norton Commando Combat with a production racer body kit. This is a numbers matching bike with clean title. The mileage on the bike is 4689, and the restoration was done at 4089 miles. I built this bike to be a reliable, mostly leak free, fast, classic English bike for everyday riding. I have not had the time to ride it as much as I had hoped, so I have decided to list it for sale. I love this bike, but it is spending too much time sitting in my garage. It starts 2nd or 3rd kick when cold, or 1st kick when warm. It only leaves a drip or two on the floor after a few weeks of sitting, so it is pretty sealed for a classic English bike. I have never ran ethanol in it and it has used only high quality Brad Penn oil since rebuild. The combat engine is very fast for a classic bike. I still have all the original parts that have been removed except for the original fuel tank. I also have all receipts from the rebuild process. This was a frame up restoration with all consumables and cables replaced and modern upgrades done along the way. Here is a list of what has been done:
– Complete engine rebuild done by reputable Norton engine guru Leo Goff. Cases were media blasted, checked, and painted. Blueprint build to combat spec including new pistons, superblend bearings, cam, valves, etc. Crankcase was modified for better breather performance, and the tach drive was modified to take a better seal

RGM production racer alloy fuel tank, fiberglass production racer front fender and seat ( seat has small crack that is pictured)

Rebuilt front brake caliper and new quality pads
