Rideable/functional Commando. Everything works, runs strong. Lots of new parts. Complete rebuild in 2005-2008 at 13000 miles. Complete bottom end kit including C3 Superblend bearings. New pistons, pins, rings, big end bearings. New timing chain and all new gaskets including seals throughout the engine. Tach drive modiefied by Fair Spares, no leak. Gearbox kick start seal installed by Fair Spares. Mostly original parts, only things that aren’t are WM2 rims, stainless spokes, 71 rear mudguard (I have the original) tires of course, Pazon SureFire EI, new coils, bronze rose nuts for exhaust, exhaust system new in 05, dogleg bracket from RGM, oil filter installed from RGM, swing are rebuild with SS shaft and screws bolts to prevent twisting, all frame hardware replaced with SS, crankcase engine studs original, new forks, rebuilt original front suspension, new NJB rear shocks. SS front and rear single piece axle from Madass. Wheel bearings replaced with sealed ones at rebuild. Original dual Amals sleeved by Lunds and all new carb parts, idles fine. Isolastic rebuild with 71 kit from Old Brits. Home made Keith heim joint head steady. Original rebuilt lever/switch sets as original. Includes all original parts if desired, tools, extra gasket sets and anything I have associated with the bike. A complete kit ready to go. Carbs run a bit lean and should be taken care of but pipes are not blue. I have all the receipts and extra decals, manuals and books. Fiberglass tank should be replaced, that’s why I haven’t painted it. Been using avgas in it and it started first try today May 27, 2019 after sitting about a year. Notice I have a oil feed cut off, the interrupt switch is not working, I’d suggest removing it or fixing a new ignition cut off. It does wet sump in about 2-3 weeks. Original breather system with catch bottle. It does leak a bit from the crankcase. Original harness, alternator, zenier diode and selenium rectifier. AGM battery works, but should be replaced, will not start with Pazon without a good battery.
